Ada Norris

September 18, 1918 — February 22, 2015

Ada Tracy Norris, 96, passed away Sunday, February 22 in Douglas, GA following a lengthy illness.  She was born September 18, 1918 to the late Porte Crayon Tracy and Minnie Haddock Tracy.  She retired as a Registered Nurse.  She was a member of the Folkston United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first Husband:  Douglas Carlisle “D.C.” Greene; her second husband:  Bob Norris; her daughter:  Munda Greene McFerrin Davis Phillips and her twin sister:  Agnes Davis.
She is survived by her two sisters:  Meta Cushing and Leila Gibson; 3-Grandchildren:  Mary Elizabeth Fletcher, Rebecca Ann Mathis and Heath Taylor McFerrin; 8-Great Grandchildren and 1 ½ great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 25 at Shepard Funeral Home from 2-3 PM.  A Graveside funeral will be held in Trader’s Hill Cemetery Wednesday, February 25 at 3 PM.  Her grandchildren will preside over the service.
