Albert Amasa Matthews

Albert Amasa Matthews, 75, of Kingsland, GA passed away at his home on Saturday, December 9, 2023. He was born in Baltimore, MD on March 19, 1948, to the late Amasa Levi Matthews and Nina Powley Brunson. Albert retired from the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, stepfather; John Brunson, and a brother; David Matthews.

He is survived by his loving wife; Deborah Densmore Matthews, 2-sons; Shawn Matthews and Jason Matthews, grandchildren; Brianna (Patrick) Dowling and Daltan Floyd, great-granddaughter; McKinlie Dowling, sister-in-law; Celina Hickey, and nephew; Erik Matthews.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
