Alicia L. Hamlett

Alicia L. Hamlett, 81, of Jacksonville, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 5, 2024. She was born in Macon, Georgia on November 28, 1942, to the late John Quincy Drury and Beulah Lee O’Quinn Harper. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son; Pierre Paul Bazzell, and a niece; Vicky Simpson.

Alicia is survived by her daughter; Jennene Rachal of Denham Springs, LA, 7-grandchildren; Brittney Mizell of Denham Springs, LA, Tia-Ann Smyth of Smock, PA, Amber Martin of Denham Springs, LA, Melissa Harper of Keystone Heights, FL, Christopher Bazzell of Jacksonville, FL, Benjamin Bazzell of Fernandina, FL, and Aliana Bazzell of Fernandina, FL, 11-great-grandchildren, and 1-niece.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Bachlott Cemetery in Nahunta, Georgia.

In lieu of fresh flower arrangements, the family requests live plants.
