Barbara Ann Cornelius

Barbara Ann Sweeting Cornelius, 58, of Homeland, GA passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born in Syracuse, NY on March 22, 1965 to the late Ralph Lewis Sweeting and Clara Belle Rice Sweeting. Barbara was a member of North Hilliard Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2-brothers; Ralph Sweeting and Carl Sweeting.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years; Benjamin Franklin Cornelius, 3-sisters; Debbie Henderson, Linda (Michael) Pruitt, and Patricia Reed, 3-brothers; Robert (Lisa) Sweeting, David (Shannon) Davis, and Rondal Davis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Blackshear, GA.
