Betty Batten

Betty Jo Watson Batten, 80, of St. George, GA passed away December 31 at her residence following a lengthy illness.  She was born January 3, 1937 in Ty Ty, Georgia to the late Andrew Wesley Watson and Fannie Lorene Wilbanks Watson.  She attended the First Baptist Church of St. George.
She is survived by her children:  Lee Batten of St. George, GA, Wayne Batten of Folkston, GA and Kenny Batten of Texas; a sister:  Lorene Cooper of Lakeland, FL; 6-grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, January 5, 2018 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in St. George with Rev. Larry Finley officiating.  Burial will follow in Emmaus Cemetery in St. George.
