BETTY BROWN

Betty Ruth Keene Brown, 85, of Homeland, GA passed away Thursday, December 24 in St. Marys, GA.  She was born September 4, 1935 in Hilliard, FL to the late Theodore Keene and Nellie Bell Knight Keene.  She was a homemaker and a member of Crossroads Pentecostal Church in Kingsland, GA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a husband:  Sigmund Ciepielak; a grandson:  Jarrod Brannan; 2-brothers:  Stanley Keene and Burl Keene and 2-sisters:  Greada Rudd and Mary Bell Wyman.

She is survived by her husband:  William D. Brown; children:  Glynn Richard Lloyd Jr (Angela), Ronald W. Lloyd (Joanne), John W. Lloyd (Jo Ann) and Brenda Brannan (Larry); a sister:  Nell Lang; 8-grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 29 at noon in Homeland Cemetery with Rev. Mike Maddox officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

Due to the COVID-19, the family would like to ask all to please follow the rules of social distancing and face mask are recommended at the service.   Also, anyone who does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like for you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
