Betty Jean Crews

Betty Jean Crews, 78, of St. George, GA passed away on January 1, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL following a brief illness. She was born in Bryceville, FL to the late Ellis Howard and Lillian Woods Howard. Betty was a homemaker and also a member New Life Baptist Church and a former member of River Road Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband; Joseph Earl Crews, Sr., a daughter; Regina Finch, a sister; Pearly Ormsbee, and a grandson; Kevin Crews.

She is survived by her loving husband; Timothy White, 2-children; Rev. Joe (Michelle) Crews, and Ramona (Earl) Johnson, 7-grandchildren; Josh (Brandi) Lloyd, Andrew Crews, Adam (Tiffany) Crews, Aaron (Leanna) Crews, Alex Crews, Aiden Crews, and Autumn Johnson, 9-great-grandchildren; Anleigh Lloyd, Adilyn Lloyd, Ariya Lloyd, Ansley Crews, Annisten Crews, Adleigh Crews, Gabe Crews, Evie Crews, and Makayla Crews, brother-in-law; Leonard (Beatrice) Taylor, a nephew; Leonard (Brooke) Darienzo, and 2-nieces; Sheila (Benedikt) Mohr and Carol (Kevin) Mock.

A service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at New Life Baptist Church with Rev. James Conner officiating. Burial will follow at Boones Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
