Betty Wahl

Betty J. Wahl, 83, passed away at Life Care Center of Hilliard, Saturday, May 20, 2017.  She was born in Douglas, GA to the late William Tarrant and Eunice Baker Tarrant.  She was a member of Russell Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs, Fl.  She was a former member of River Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband:  Ronald Wahl; her son:  Deion Wahl and 3-brothers:  Joel, Larry and Wayne Tarrant.
She is survived by her children:  Ken (Terri) Bunnell, Patty (Red) Reed, Devin (Lia) Wahl and Heidi (Ryan) Copley; 5-Grandchildren:  Jeremy (Katherine) Bunnell, Samantha Reed, Tonya (Luke) Hall, Sondra Willard, Cassie Copley and Akahi Wahl; a sister-in-law:  Bonnie Tarrant and a number of great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 26 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27 at 11:00 AM at Russell Baptist Church, 2299 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs, FL with Rev. Jeremy Bunnell, of Hephzibah Baptist Church, Lincolnton, GA and Rev. Hal McIntosh, of River Road Baptist Church, Callahan, FL officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
