Brian Kevin Aldridge, age 57, of Folkston, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ on July 29, 2026.
Brian was born on January 1, 1969, in Folkston, Georgia to James Vernon Aldridge Sr. and Barbara Jean Lambert Aldridge. Brian grew up with a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his time hunting and fishing. He made a life-long career in the HVAC industry and was known as the AC man that could fix anything. He started his career and spent many years at White-Oak Plantation, where many of his coworkers became family.
Brian attended Southside Baptist Church in Nahunta, Georgia. He loved his family, and he loved the Lord. He had a servant’s heart and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. Brian’s world revolved around his two grandsons, who were the light of his life.
Brian is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kayla Aldridge Mathie and Michael Mathie; his grandsons Brinson Mathie and Briggs Mathie; his loving mother, Barbara Aldridge; 7 siblings and their spouses, Felecia Aldridge Stokes (David), James Aldridge Jr.(Alicia), Valerie Aldridge Gowen (Doug), Mark Aldridge (Christina), Angela Aldridge Lantz (Troy), Aric Aldridge (April), and Amy Aldridge Johns; 17 nephews and nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his best friend and father, James Vernon Aldridge Sr.
A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home, with Bro. David Stokes and Bro. Phillip Cochran officiating. Burial to follow at Sardis Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stetson Aldridge, Shane Aldridge, Joshua Stokes, Ridge Gowen, Hunter Bell, Austin Aldridge, Ashton Aldridge and Colton Johns. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
