Bruce Willis

Bruce Edward Willis, 68, of Folkston, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday May 26. He was a beloved husband, father, papa, uncle, and friend. Born to parents Alan Lynwood Willis, Sr. and Addie Bell Willis on August 14, 1939, Bruce will be remembered for his gentle demeanor, wittiness, and great love for his family. Bruce's employment in the grocery store business started as a bag boy at Jax Meat as a young boy, and ended at Albertson's with his retirement in 2005.

Bruce's memory will be cherished by his wife of 47 years, Loretta Smith Willis, Daughter and Son-In-Law: Kim & John Dary; Son: Roger Willis; Grandchildren: Katie Willis, Kendall Dary, and John Willis “Jack” Dary; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Alan Lynwood Willis, Jr. & Christine Willis; Special Family Friend: Megan and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday May 29 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Friday May 30 at 10:00 AM at Buford Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Harrington officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday May 30 at 2:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Park in Jacksonville, FL.
