Cathy Marie Hill

Cathy Marie Hill, 64, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 31, 2026. She was born in Folkston, Georgia, on August 10, 1962, to the late Calvin Cartrette and Grace Mobley Cartrette.

Cathy loved spending time outdoors and making memories with her family. She was a talented and artistic woman who also had a deep appreciation for music. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs fan, Cathy proudly cheered on her team whenever they took the field.

She is survived by her son: Taylor Hill (Kimberly); brothers: Gary Cartrette (Jennifer) and Rex Cartrette; sisters: Jenifer Nobles (Kevin) and Gracie Gooch (Tony); and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that loved and adored her.

A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Camp Pinckney Cemetery. Following the memorial service a Celebration of Cathy's life will be held at the home of Gracie Gooch, 19 Fern Drive, Folkston, Georgia.
