Cecil Webb

Cecil Alvin Webb, 86 of Hilliard, Florida passed away October 23, 2016 in Hilliard Life Care Center.
He was born December 16, 1929 in Buena Vista, Georgia to the late Hattie Whitman and Aaron Alvin Webb. Cecil was a employer in his early years with Pantry Pride and Winn Dixie Stores. He had also worked for Pitzer Trucking Company, Alterman Trucking Company and the Department of Agriculture in Hilliard.  He was a diesel mechanic and it was said he worked on anything from a bicycle to a locomotive.  He served his country in the United States Army and was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include a son: Mitchell Webb (Patsy) of Hilliard, Florida; daughter: Carol Renshaw(Tim) of Blairsville, Georgia; Grandchildren: Corey Jones(Keli) of Indiana; Casey Webb of Hilliard; Shelby Webb of Charlotte, NC; Amber Joscelyn(Jeremiah) of Defuniak Springs, Fl.; Jacob Renshaw (Brittani) of  Cornelia, Ga.; two brothers: Jake Webb, Joe Webb; five sisters: Jeannie Martin, Annette Monkus, Marie Carter, Miriam Bacon and Glenda Drew; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife:Mary Elizabeth Hendrix Webb;  a son: Malcom Webb; Brothers: Richard Webb, David Webb, Ernest Webb, Thomas Webb, Lewis Webb and a sister: Lillie Ammons.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at the funeral home from 6 until 8 PM. Funeral Services will be Thursday, October 27, 216 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Boulougne with Bro. Tim Renshaw officiating.  Burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
