Charles Eugene McCoy

Charles Eugene McCoy, 87, of St. George, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born in Wheeler County on April 2, 1935 to the late Virgil Lee McCoy and Sallie Ryals McCoy.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a grandson; Duane McCoy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years; Geneva McCoy, 3-children; Tina Stephenson, Charles Duane (Patricia) McCoy and Tonya (Robert) Brinson, 4-grandchildren; Shane McCoy, Kelley Stephenson, Brianna Stephenson and Cody McCoy, 11-great-grandchildren, a brother; Ralph (Jo) McCoy, 2-sisters; Reba (Joe) Gill and Betty Ruth Young, and many nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 19, 2022 at St. George Church of God with Rev. Grady Albritton officiating. Burial will follow at St. George Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
