Christopher Steven Greer, 54, passed away June 7, 2024.  He resided in Folkston, GA but his heart was always in Brooklyn, NY.  He was born February 2, 1970 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John Philip Greer, Sr. and Elizabeth Tedesco Greer.  Christopher absolutely loved the New York Rangers Hockey Team.  He was an avid bowler, participating on various bowling teams in Brooklyn and Staten Island.  He enjoyed vacationing and cruising and volunteered at local schools where he received many certificates for his community service. Christopher was a true patriot and loved his country. He was employed with GEO Group in Folkston.

He is survived by his wife:  Francine Greer, residing in Folkston, but originally from Brooklyn; his daughter:   Stephanie Nicole Greer; His brother and Sister-in-Law:  John & Maria Greer of Old Bridge, NJ; a Brother:  Steven Greer of Matawan, NJ; Sister-in-Law:  Lisa Lande-Greer of Matawan, NJ; a Brother-in-Law and Sister-in-Law:  Ralph & Kelly Fasano; his best buddy: Cody & Tracy Rentz; very special neighbors:   Quincy & Malia Lowry; his furbabies:   Elsa, Oreo, and Coco; nieces and nephews:  Christina Marie, John Philip, Nicoletta, Ralphie, Michael, Steven, Kaitlin, Alex and Jamie:  his honorary nieces and nephews:  The Rentz Kids:  Willow, Emma, Fayth, Gatlin, Xander and Jackson and the Lowry Kids:  Isaiah, Isreal, Na’tia and J.J.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.

His family would like to thank the entire staff of GEO for the love and support shown to them during this time.  It did not go unnoticed.
