Cleveland Nettles

Cleveland Morgan Nettles, 78, of Unadilla, GA passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at his home.  He was born July 4, 1943 in Folkston, GA to the late John Carlo Nettles and Rachel Inez Hickox Nettles.

He was preceded in death by his wife:  JoAnn Lee Nettles; 5-sisters:  Wanda Jean Fife, Linda Gail Cooler, Hazel Capps, Doris Vanacor and Janice Harris; 8-brothers:  L.C. Nettles, Jimmy Nettles, Curtis Nettles, William Nettles, Walter Nettles, Roy Nettles and Bo Nettles; a great grandson:  Sampson Joseph Spurlock and a very special nephew:  Brad Nettles.

He is survived by his children:  Rachel (Bruce) Wainwright, Lisa (Jimmy) Spurock, Joseph Cleveland Nettles and Sarah Louise Nettles; a brother:  Earl Nettles; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 4 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with Associate Pastor Tim DeGuire and Pastor Dennis Lanning officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Homeland Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19, the family would like to ask all attendees to please follow the rules of social distancing and face masks are recommended at the service.  Also, anyone that does not feel comfortable with attending the service, the family would like you to know they understand and covet your prayers.
