Dalton Crofton

With a broken heart and saddest of regrets we announce that Dalton Cody Califano Crofton left this world on June 12th in Yulee, Florida.

He was raised and lived in Callahan, Florida. He is survived by a son, Jackson Cody Crofton age 1 and his mother Rayanna Shaffer, his mother Kelli Crofton, his girlfriend Logan Stevenson, sister Kayla Vera, her husband Allan and his niece Amelia, brother Ryan Griffin, his wife Jeni, and their children Eymrie and Rhett, his sister Brooke Griffin, her boyfriend Danny and niece Charlie, brother Elijah Gage, father William (Billy) Califano; step father Tony Griffin; grandmother Connie Califano along with several aunts, uncles; cousins and numerous other family and friends.

Dalton was charismatic and larger than life. If he was in a room you knew he was there. He was loved by so many and will be forever remembered and missed. The world truly lost an amazing man.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you donate to an account that will be set up for Jackson or a local Suicide Prevention program in Dalton’s name.

Hug those you love tight and always tell them you love them.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-8 PM  Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Callahan with Rev. Lynn Hyatt and Rev. Shane Foss officiating.  Burial will follow in Keene Cemetery in Callahan, FL.
