Donald Gates

Donald Arthur Gates, 80 of Folkston passed away June 17, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Waycross, Georgia.  He was born July 13, 1935 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Harvey and Kate Dody Gates. He was a logger by trade and was a member of Calvary Indianapolis Baptist Church.
Donald is survived by his children: Vicky Bryan(Joseph), Linda Wilson and Jan Lloyd; three sisters; Marianna Barber, Wanda McCombs and Rosita Vires; Six Grandchildren and a number of Great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He was preceded in death by a brother: David Gates and a son: Mark Gates.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Johnson Cemetery with Rev. Arlie Johns officiating.
