Donald Gordon Hunter, 65, passed away October 5, 2010. Donald was born in Sanford, FL on September 17, 1945 and grew up in Palm Valley. He was a Navy Chief and retired January 31, 1987 after 22 years of service.
He is survived by his two Sons: Dallis (Marella) Hunter and Michael (Edna) Hunter; a Grandson: Isaac Hunter, a Granddaughter: Lydia Hunter; two Sisters: Darlene (Sam) Wilkes and Susan (Steve Fuquay) Barrett. Memorial Services will be held on Friday, October, 8, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Palm Valley Baptist Church, 4890 Palm Valley Road, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, 875 North Randolph Street, suite 225, Arlington, VA 22203. www.nmcrs.org
