Dwayne Conner

Dwayne Leslie Conner, 59, of Asheville, NC, passed away Wednesday June 6 at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Folkston following a lengthy illness. He was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was the son of the late Charles L. and Arna Johnson Conner. He was also preceded in death by his brother: Horace Conner and a sister: Nora B. Conner Taylor.

He is survived by 2-Children: Carrie (Carson) Smith and Clark (Crystal) Conner; 4-Grandchildren: Adam and Natalie Smith and Dakota and Taylor Conner; a sister: Brenda (Chris) Gowen; 3-Brothers: Chris (Gayle) Conner, Kenneth (Yvonne) Conner and Don Conner; a sister-in-law: Mae Conner and a brother-in-law: Tommy Taylor.

The family will receive friends Friday June 8 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday June 9 at 2:00 PM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. David Beckham officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
