Edria Bogers

Alcine Griffis Bogers, 93, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018.  She was born January 28, 1924 in Blackshear, Georgia to the late Spencer Atkinson Griffis and Stella Gertrude Yarbrough Griffis.  In her spare time she enjoyed sewing and oil painting.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Rev. John R. Bogers.
She is survived by 3 children:  Helen Faye Smith and her husband, Raymond, Mary Alcine Bogers, and John Robert Bogers and his wife, Emma; 8-grandchildren:  Julie Morris, Brian (Angela) Touchton, Jason (Erin) Wallner, Tracy Touchton, Gina (Ben) Ford, Jamie (Stephen) Putnam, Jill Rae Bogers and Jodi Rene Bogers; 14-great grandchildren:  Hope Morris, Jeremy Ollar, Harrison Ford, Tegan Ford, Lang Touchton, Ragan Touchton, Madelyn Touchton, Katherine Touchton, Laurel Touchton, Dakota Cushman, Piper Putnam, Kingston Putnam, Allison Wallner and Mason Wallner.
A graveside service will be held Monday, January 29 at 3:00 PM in Chapel Hill Cemetery with Pastor Rick Lee officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service in the Chapel Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
