Evelyn Jane Gates, 88, of Hilliard, FL, passed away at her home January 3, 3024. She was born in Greensburg, Indiana to the late Charles Raymond Broadus and Lilly Glenn Minary Broadus. She worked for the State of Florida Welcome Center for a number of years before her retirement.
She is survived by her daughters: Vicky (Joseph) Bryan and Jan Lloyd; 2-sisters: Anna Jo Patton and Treva Leonard; 6-grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her children: Mark Gates and Linda Wilson.
A graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 10 at 11:00 AM in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
