Evelyn "Nell" Crews

Evelyn Winnell “Nell” Crews, 100, of Folkston, GA, passed away October 24, 2018 at Folkston Park Nursing Home.  She was born September 14, 1918 in Live Oak, FL to the late John Monroe Huggins and Sallie Bennett Huggins.  She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Folkston, GA.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son:  Bo Crews and all her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children:  Martha Crews, John (Yvonne) Crews and Bobby (Jackie) Crews; a daughter-in-law:  Susie Crews; a sister-in-law:  Cornelia Huggins; 24-grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and many more relatives.

The family will receive friends Friday, October 26 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 5-7 PM.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Folkston.  Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
