Faye McMillan

Faye Chesser McMillan, 75, of Folkston, GA passed away at her home Friday, March 29, 2024 surrounded by her family and friends.  She was born January 8, 1949 in Folkston, GA to the late Willie Chesser and Ethel Roddenberry Chesser.  She was a faithful member of Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Mr. Larry McMillan and 2-sisters, Geraldine Faust and Mary Sue Wheeler.
She is survived by 3-sons:  Ray (Cheryl) McMillan, Lamar McMillan, Jonathan (Dustie) McMillan; a sister:  Jean Murray; 5-grandchildren:  Emma Kate McMillan, Ada McMillan, Ava McMillan, Ryan (Bradley) Todd, Hunter Dowling; 4-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM at Philadelphia Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Ray McMillan and Rev. Billy Champion officiating.  Interment will follow in Traders Hill Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Michael Todd, Kevin Roddenberry, Tony Roddenberry, Cole Wheeler, Buck Roddenberry, Corey Norton, Tim Birchall, and Kyle Cribb.
