Freddie Miller

Freddie Junior Miller, 86, of Folkston, GA, passed away at his home October 14, 2019.  He was born in Trenton, FL on September 16, 1933 to the late Joseph Fred Miller and Viva Blitch Miller.  He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.  He retired from Gainesville Fire Rescue in Gainesville, FL after 28 years of service.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Folkston where he served as a deacon.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister:  Edith Everett.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years:  Evelyn Dixon Miller; 2-children:  Fred Anthony “Tony” Miller and Paula Miller Perez (Steven); 7-grandchildren and 7-great grandchildren.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 19 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Folkston.
