GEORGE POWELL

George Elmo Powell, 74, of St. George, GA passed away February 5 in Macclenney, Fl.  He was born in Glenwood, GA to the late Isaiah Lanier Powell and Ruby Pauline Crawford Powell.  He was a member of the Hilliard Church of God.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his 2-Brothers:  Earl Powell & Donald Powell.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years:  Virginia Prevatt Powell; 2-Children:  Lisa A. Powell & Kevin W. (Kylie) Powell; 3-Grandchildren:  Zachary Powell, Alexas Powell & Mackenzie Powell; 2-Brothers:  Rev. Larry Powell & Eugene Powell; 3-Sisters:  Jeanette Walker, Betty Jo Bridges, Ruby Carey and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 9 at the Hilliard Church of God at 2:00 PM with Rev. Junior Morgan officiating.  The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in St. George Cemetery.
