Glenda Lanette Westberry

Glenda Lanette Westberry, 73, of Kingsland, GA, passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System of Brunswick on Thursday, February 26, 2026. She was born in Folkston, GA, on July 01, 1952, to the late William Smith and Portia Anne O’berry. Glenda was a member of Homeland Pentecostal Church, she enjoyed singing, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. Spending time with her family was one of her greatest joys in life, as each family member always brought a smile to her face. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch watching her hummingbirds with her dog, Bella.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Sanders and brother-in-law, Butch Hendrix.

She is survived by her loving husband: Roy Westberry; three daughters: Gina (John) Eaton, Tina O’Berry and Amanda Price; 5-grandchildren: Rick (Elizabeth) Rigdon, Amber Morgan, Christina Mimbs, Junior (Parrish) Mimbs, and Justin Cook; brother: Donald (Brenda) Smith; sister: Sandra Hendrix; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 02, 2026, at Christian Worship Center with Rev. Tommy Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Brickyard Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Pallbearers will be Junior Mimbs, Rick Rigdon, John Eaton, Joe Depew, Lance Depew, and Joseph Depew.
