Gregory Carter

Gregory Frank Carter, 43, of the Racepond Community of Charlton County passed away at his home Sunday August 2. He was a native and life long resident of Charlton County and attended Sand Hill Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his brother: James Michael Carter.

He is survived by 3-children: Gregory Carter, Brandon Carter and Morgan Popham; his parents: J.E. And Pat Carter; Sisters: Patricia Thompson, Wendy Carter, and Linda Aspinwall; and the mother of his children: Lynn Anderson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 5 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, Georgia beginning at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Thursday August 6 at 11:00 AM at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Logsdon, Rev. Ion Johns and Rev. Randall Gunter officiating. Burial will be in Racepond Cemetery at Sand Hill Baptist Church.
