GUSTAVO GIRAL

> Gustavo Guillermo Giral, 57, of Hilliard, FL passed away September 16, 2014.  He was born in Cuba and moved to Miami at 4 ½.  He lived in Miami until he attended Springhill College in Alabama. He later received his Bachelors Degree in Education and Human Resources and a Masters Degree in Management from St. Thomas University. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army.  He attended the Police Academy and he served on the Douglasville, GA police department.  Mr. Giral was a member of the First Baptist Church of Callahan.  His passion was missionary work and serving the Lord.
> He is survived by his wife:  Marisel Manteiga Giral and a sister:  Laura Giral and a number of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives.
> A memorial service was held Friday, September 19, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Callahan with Pastor Lynn Hyatt officiating at 7:00 PM.  Memorialization was by cremation.
> Condolences may be expressed by signing the guest registry at Shepard Funeral Home | Folkston Georgia funeral home.  Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA.
