Obituary Notice:
Hazel Johnson Cowart, 83, passed away Monday August 20 at Sunbridge Health and Rehab for Folkston. She was born in Charlton County. She was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church.
She is survived by 2-Daughters: Evelyn Barber and Dorothy Marshall both of Callahan, FL; 4-Sons: Paul Smith of Callahan, FL, Wallace Smith of Folkston, GA, Emory Smith of Callahan, FL, and Carl Smith of Hilliard, FL; Sister: Caroline Petty of Folkston, GA; 14-Grandchildren and Many Great Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday August 22 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM. Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday Aug 23 at 10:00 AM at Prospect Methodist Church Cemetery near Folkston, GA.
