Irene Peeples

Irene M. Peeples, 92, of Folkston, GA passed away at Life Care Center in Hilliard on Friday, February 18, 2022. She was born in Woodbine, GA on January 17, 1930 to the late Jim McKenney and Jessie Colson McKenney. She was a member of Folkston United Methodist Church.

Irene is survived by her daughter; Gayle (Bud) Cantrell, her sons; Lynwood A. (Gerlinde) Peeples Jr. and Ronald Cliff (Barbara) Peeples, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at noon at Shepard Roberson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Folkston, GA. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 6:00-8:00PM at Shepard Roberson Funeral Home.
