Iris Campbell, 62, of Hilliard, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Born on October 13, 1963, to the late Cleveland Rogers and Dora King, Iris lived a life rooted in love, compassion, and selfless devotion to her family and those around her.

Iris was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a proud Granny whose greatest joy came from caring for others. As a homemaker, she created a warm and welcoming home where family and friends always felt cherished. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Asheville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by her son, Pete Smith; her sister, Lily Rogers; her brother, Buddy Rogers; and her beloved dog, Napoleon.

She leaves behind her devoted husband, Timothy Campbell; her children, Tony “Scooby” (Sylvia) Smith, David Campbell, Danielle Smith, Mary (Dejean) Smith, Rema (Kevin) May, Jerri Lynn (Ryan) King, and Rickey Smith; her sister, Rose Griner; and her brother, Bryan Rogers. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Dominick, Dillon, Hunter, Kaden, Daisi, Peyton, Gracie, Alex, Amir, and Aaliyah.

Iris’s legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home. A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home with eulogies by Jerri King and Kelly Campbell. Burial will follow at Homeland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dominick Hbaba, Dillon Hbaba, Hunter Powers, Kaden May, Peyton May and Fernando Martinez-Ordaz.
