Jack Latham

August 15, 1928 — July 5, 2014

Jack Latham, 85, of Hilliard, FL passed away July 5, 2014 following a lengthy illness.  He was born August 15, 1928 to the late James Craig Latham and Emily Cox Latham.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army and Navy.  Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife:  Mary Lou Latham; a Daughter:  Emily Murphy and a Brother:  Williard Latham.
He is survived by 3-Children:  Dale Latham, Lisa Latham, Brenda (Jim) Ackerman; 8=Grandchildren:  Amanda (Sean) Dowie, Christopher Latham, Virginia Uptagrafft, Ashley Latham, David Snead, Jr., Travis Snead, Jamie Thigpen, & Brian Ackerman; 7-Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 8 at Shepard Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 6-8 PM.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 9 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home with Rev. James T. Ackerman officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Hilliard, FL.
Contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, 4266 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, FL 32257.
