James Champion
April 17, 1924 — January 31, 2009
James E. Champion, 84 of Folkston passed away Saturday, January 31, 2009 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, Fl.
He had been a resident of Folkston since 1988 and was married to the late Louise Lloyd Champion. He was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.
Survivors include 6 Step-children: Jimmy Parker(Molly) of Fernandina Beach, Fl.; Geraldine Knowles (Arthur) of Folkston, Ga.; Shirley Mizell of Folkston,Ga.; Debbie Hardy(David) of Gilbert, S.C.; Charles Lloyd(Crystal) of Folkston, Ga.; Steve Lloyd(Kathy) of Folkston, Ga.; Eight step- grandchildren; 3 step- great-grandchildren, Several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services will be Monday, February 2, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Ernie Bailey officiating.
