James Davis

James Floyd Davis, 78, of Folkston, GA passed away February 25 in Hilliard, FL.  He was born November 27, 1938 in Folkston, GA to the late John Upton Davis and Eula Teresa Murhee Davis.  He graduated from High School in Hilliard, FL and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from The Citadel.  He was a sales manager for car dealerships for a number of years.  Mr. Davis loved being on his farm and on his tractor.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years:  Jean Davis; 2-Children:  Kyle Davis and Jennifer (Michael) Young; Grandchildren:  Zachary Davis, Kristin Cruz, Jimmy Tyler Young and Gage Young; a Sister:  Marion Herrington; a Sister-In-Law:  Betty Young and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 28 from 6-8 PM at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA.  A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 1 at 2:00 PM in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Ricky Dyal officiating.
