James Peavy

James Michael Peavy, 77, of Folkston, GA passed away July 10, 2021 in Fernandina Beach, FL following a lengthy illness.  He was born February 21, 1944 near Concrod, NC.  He was a pilot by trade and loved to build model planes and jets.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years:  Mary J. Peavy; a son:  Jamie Peavy; a daughter:  Jennifer P. Remsnyder; his mother:  Cecil Mae Anderson Peavy and sisters:  Jimma Lee Askins, Pamela Tise and Lanna Kay Anderson.  He was preceded in death by his father:  James Alonzo Peavy.

Memorialization will be by cremation
