Jane Robertson

Jane Robertson, 70, of Folkston, GA passed away suddenly December 30, 2021.  She was born March 27, 1951 in Roanoke, VA to the late Thomas A. Overstreet and Mary Frances Gross Overstreet.  She was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson Sr. High School and a hairdresser in Roanoke for 17 years.  She was the district manager for Family Dollar for 15 years.  She loved riding her Harley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter:  Wendy Gaskin; 2-sisters:  Joyce Ann Franklin and Nancy Chambers and a brother:  Wayne “Shorty” Overstreet.

She is survived by her granddaughters:  Kayla Shae Gaskins, Karisa Ansley Gaskin Burton and Kasidy Hanah Gaskin; great grandchildren:  Kimber Rayne Crews, Kaeden Elijah Crews, Kameron Levi Crews, Kayson Luke Crews and Rilynn Burton; 2-brothers:  Kenneth “Chubby” Overstreet, Ronnie “Low” Overstreet and a number of nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 12 noon at Harvest Christian Fellowship with Tracy Johnson officiating.  Memorialization will be by cremation.

Arrangements are under the direction of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home, 526 Oakwood Street, Folkston, Georgia 31537
