Jeanne Doreen Parker Phillips

Jeanne Doreen Parker Phillips, 68, of Hilliard, FL passed away December 10, 2025 in Jacksonville, Florida.  She was born July 4, 1957 in Jacksonville, Florida, the 4th of 5 children to the late Noel "Kit" Parker and Doreen Nelson Parker.  She was a member of Little Phoebe Primitive Baptist Church.  In her spare time, she loved to crochet, go camping at the river, draw, sing at the nursing home and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents:  Horace Bryant Parker and Gradis Noel Parker of Leary, Georgia and Lewis Homer Nelson and Minnie Mae Johnson Nelson of Hilliard, Florida; her three older siblings:  Brenda Kay Parker, Ira Wayne Parker and Richard Dennis Parker, all of Nahunta, Georgia.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years:  David Phillips of Hilliard, Florida; a daughter & son-in-law:  Gina Doreen Phillips Oliver & Barry Oliver; her son:  Christopher David Phillips; 2-grandchildren:  Jazmine Prescott and Gabriel Noel Phillips; a sister & brother-in-law:  Jeanette Parker Mercer & Shelton Mercer; a sister-in-law:  Beverly Hendrix Parker and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, December 15 at 11:00 AM at Little Phoebe Cemetery with Elder Floyd Edenfield officiating.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
