Jimmy "Bo" Crews

October 21, 1939 — March 13, 2017

Jimmie Lee “Bo” Crews, 77, of Folkston, GA passed away Monday, March 13 at his residence.  He was born October 21, 1939 in Folkston, GA.  Before his retirement, he was a forester with Callahan Timber Company and for many years, he operated Okefenokee Auto Parts. He enjoyed his years coaching recreational sports and is remembered fondly by former players.  Bo loved fishing and told many “fishing tales”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Raleigh Crews and a son, Roddy Crews.
He is survived by his wife, Susan McDaniel Crews; 3-children, Vivian (Mickey) Dickerson, Robert Crews and Dennis (Kathy) Crews; his mother, Nell H. Crews; a sister, Martha Winnell Crews; 2-brothers, Bobby (Jackie) Crews and John (Yvonne) Crews; 8-grandchildren and 2-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 16 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home in Folkston, GA from 5-7 PM.  Graveside services will be Friday, March 17 at 3:00 PM in Homeland Cemetery.
