Joseph "Joe" Robinson, 84, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Brunswick, GA at the Hospice of the Golden Isles.
Joe was born May 3, 1939, to the late Noah Everett "Tobe" Robinson and the late Zoe Evelyn Green Robinson in Folkston, Georgia.
Joe went into the United States Army January 1962. He served three tours of duty in Korea, two tours of duty in Okinawa, and one tour in Germany. After twenty years of service, he retired February 1, 1982.
He started working at Union Camp International Paper in November 1982 and retired December 2003.
He is survived by his son, Jimmie Jeis Robinson of Folkston, sister Lou Morgan, brother Zade Robinson of Folkston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, sisters: Helen Deloach, Emma Mae Fields, Lucille Roberts, Ada Caudill, Joyce Robinson, Vickey Wilson, and Gladys Gay, brothers: Earl W. Robinson, Cecil Robinson, Jimmy Robinson, Jack Robinson, Everett Robinson, Owen Robinson, and Bob Robinson.
Private Graveside services will be held at Morgan Cemetery in Folkston, Georgia.
