Joyce Bennett Childers, 54 of Folkston passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 23, 1961 in Highland City, Florida to Frank Howard and Betty Driggers Bennett. She had been a resident of Folkston for the past three years. Joyce was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Keith Childers of Folkston; two sons: Jeremy Childers (Carla) of Calhoun, Ga.; Craig Childers (Amanda) of Calhoun, Ga.; daughter: Carra Childers Lafitte (Vincent) of Tucker, Ga.; four grandchildren; three brothers: Aubrey Hennessee of Calhoun, Ga.; Don Flowers(Diane) of Doraville, Ga.; Frank Howard Bennett(Lois) of Dalton, Ga.; several Nieces, Nephews and other relatives.
A Memorial service will be held in North Georgia at a later date.
