Joyce Armstrong Davis

Joyce Armstrong Davis, 86, of Hilliard, FL, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. She was born in Yellowwater, Jacksonville, FL, on July 29, 1940, to the late James Albert Armstrong and Lucy Bell Parrish Armstrong. Joyce was a member of First Baptist Church of Boulougne.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband: Robert M. Davis, Sr.; and siblings: Fred Armstrong, Howard Armstrong, James Armstrong, Ed Armstrong, Eunice Mott, Edna Hodges, Florine Williams and Libby Lyons.

She is survived by her son: Robby (Latashia) Davis; daughter: Marlene Smith; grandchildren: Jason Lee, J.D. (Jessie) Smith, Ben (Jennifer) Smith, Adam (Amber) Smith, Kristina (Ken) Douglas and Robert (Kellie) Davis, III; brother: Richard (Nita) Armstrong; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Scarlett, Willow, Kaden, Arabella, Walker, Blake, Avrie, Little Robert and Chase; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives that loved and adored her.

A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church with Pastor Jessie Pickett, Greg Jones and J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be J.D. Smith, Ben Smith, Adam Smith, Jason Lee, Robert Davis and Bernard Lee.
