Joyce Marie Stephenson, 80, of Folkston, Georgia passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 04, 1945, to the late John Henry Shortridge and Virginia Lee Estes Shortridge. Joyce lived a life filled with creativity, laughter, faith, and deep love for her family. She spent many years working in customer service before retiring in 2014. Joyce found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved reading a good book, playing games on her phone, drawing, crafting, and creating with her hands. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family. She had a wonderful sense of humor, an artistic spirit, a steadfast faith in God, and a personality that was both warm and refreshingly honest. If Joyce had something to say, she said it with her heart, and those who knew her wouldn’t have wanted her any other way.
