Katherine "Kitty" Crumpton

Katherine Wiandt Crumpton “Kitty”, 97 of Folkston passed away May 12, 2014 in Hospice
House, Waycross, Georgia. She was born May 5, 1917 to James Grant and Lucille Fox Wiandt in New Comerstown, OH. She taught Ceramics and Needle work at the Waycross Recreation Center for many
years before retiring. In her eighty’s she went back to teaching at Waycross College. She was a member
of the Homemakers Club of Waycross.
She is survived by a daughter: Katherine (Carlton) Eunice; two grandchildren: Pam Steedley (Randall); Jim Petty(Leanne); Two great-grandchildren: Lindsey Mantz; Miranda Steedley; one great-great-grandchild: Brady Mantz. She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward H. Crumpton, brother: Charles Wiandt an a sister: Daisey Rector.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Robby Yawn officiating.
