Kiefer-Shane Airie Reeves, 34, of Hilliard, FL passed away on June 13, 2025. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 27, 1991, to Albert Ray Reeves, Jr. and Wendy Heliena Shinaberry. Kiefer was the most caring man. He would stop on a dime to help anyone in need. He was a loving husband, father, friend, son and brother. No matter what he made sure everyone had fun. He loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family. Family was everything and no matter what, he was always prepared for anything with a gun on his hip. “Lo, there do I see my father. Lo, there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers. Lo, there do I see the line of my people back to the beginning. Lo, they do call to me. They bid me take my place among them in the halls of Valhalla, where the brave shall live forever.” Kiefer was never a coward. He went in all his battles headfirst without a second thought. Fear was not something that kept him back from doing things most wouldn’t think of. He loved his life with free will and made his own rules. If you were unsure about something, he’d be right there next to you to back you up. Through his death, he has shown me to always fight through the fear and not let anything hold you back from living.
He is survived by his loving wife: Kelley Reeves; son; Ronnie Reeves; daughters; Ariya Reeves, Kenzley Murray, Persephany Murray and Skylin Murray; father: Al Reeves; mother: Wendy Shinaberry; brothers: Seth (Cynthia) Reeves and Daniel (Alexis) Benson; sister: Monica (Jessie) Tivao; nieces: Aysia Tivao and Avery Tivao; and nephews: Jessie Tivao, Jameson Reeves, Graycen Reeves, Emersin Reeves.
Memorialization will be by cremation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
