Kristi Leann Nettles

Kristi Nettles, known lovingly to those closest to her as "Cricket," passed away on September 10, 2026, at her home in Folkston, Georgia, just days before her fifty-ninth birthday. Though she left this world too soon, the joy she brought to everyone around her will linger for years to come. Cricket was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was also the cherished daughter of the late Thomas Surrency. She was a radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her, known for her joy, and contagious sense of humor.

Cricket married the love of her life, William Thomas Nettles IV, and together they shared an extraordinary journey of 40 years. Together they raised two wonderful children, William Thomas Nettles V and Bailey Moschberger, who were her proudest accomplishments. Cricket's nurturing spirit extended to her four grandchildren: Jonah Moschberger, Chloe Nettles, Riley Nettles, and Lyla Nettles, each holding a special place in her heart.

A woman of diverse passions, Cricket was an avid reader, losing herself in stories that transported her to different worlds. Her Sundays were reserved for football, a tradition she cherished as she cheered for her favorite teams, the Green Bay Packers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Known for her vibrant personality, Cricket had a remarkable ability to make others laugh and feel at ease. Her happiness was infectious, and she had a rare gift for brightening any room she entered. Her compassionate nature was evident in her constant consideration for others and her special way of making you always feel loved.

Cricket leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter. She will be deeply missed by her husband William, her children, her grandchildren, and her many friends and loved ones.

Cricket's life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and joy. Though she has left this world, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all she touched.
