Laura Mae Reed Spurlock

Laura Mae Reed Spurlock, 75, of Folkston, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. She was born in Hilliard, FL on September 15, 1946 to the late Vinter Hubert Reed and Ruth Glover Reed. She was a member of Camp Pinckney Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son; Chuck Spurlock, a grandson; Tony Geoghagan, and her siblings; Helen Etienne, Eula Mae Murray, Hubert Reed, Leona Reed, George Reed, Harry Reed, Mary Lee Hodges, V.H. Reed and Jean Whittle.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years; Charles Edward “Red” Spurlock, her children; Sandra (Darrell) Geoghagan, Charlotte (Paul) King and Kenny (Charity) Spurlock, a sister; Julia Ann Spurlock and 7 grandchildren.

A service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Camp Pinckney Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Hall officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Camp Pinckney Cemetery.
