Lecy Marie Denmark Stephens

Lecy Marie Denmark Stephens, 94, of Folkston, GA passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on January 21, 1928 to the late Marion Franklin Denmark and Mabel Louise Dunkley Denmark. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years; Thomas Lloyd Stephens, a daughter; Marcia Faye Stephens, and two brothers; H.M. Denmark and M.F. Denmark.

She is survived by her children; Billie Stephens (Gordon) Hand, Linda Stephens (Robert) Jones, and Zane (Melanie) Stephens, sister; Irene Hutto, brother; Tommy Denmark, two sisters-in-law; Meriam Denmark and Beverly Stephens, 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

A service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 3741 Heavenly Lane in Hilliard, FL with President Clay Hartley officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
