Leo Prevatt

Mrs. Leo Rewis Prevatt, 93, passed away July 4, 2017.  She was born August 16, 1923 to the late Wilson Rewis and Margaret Jarriel Rewis in Cobbtown, Georgia.  She was a homemaker and foster parent to 51 children.  She was a faithful member of the Folkston Church of God.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands:  Melvin Spence and Kenneth Prevatt, her son:  Jed David Spence, and two sisters:  Willie Daniels and Ethel Rewis.
She is survived by her son:  Bobby Spence; 2-sisters:  Dorothy Donovan and Lois Buck; a brother:  WL Rewis; 6-Grandchildren, 9-Great Grandchildren, and 9-Great Great Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 6 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home from 6-9 PM.  Funeral services will be held Friday, July 7 at 1:00 PM at the Folkston Church of God with Rev. Tracy Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Sardis Cemetery.
