Lexie Elizabeth Taylor Harden, 87 of Odum,Ga., passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Jesup, Georgia.
A native of Appling County, she had been a former resident of Folkston, Georgia since 1942.
Mrs. Harden worked at First Baptist Church of Folkston, in the Nursery for over 25 years, along with Babysitting for several children Charlton County, through the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Harden. She was a member of the First Assembly of God of Folkston.
Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Shirley Moore of Waycross, Ga..
4 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2007 in the Chapel of Shepard Funeral Home at
2:00 PM , with Rev. Parnell Aldridge officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, Friday, May 11, 2007 from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home and request those wishing to make Memorials to First Assembly of God, Folkston, Ga.
Shepard Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
