Linda Martin Browning, 78, of Folkston, GA passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She was born in Jacksonville, FL on November 5, 1946, to the late Ellery Angus Martin and Ella Lucille Braddock Martin. Linda was the secretary of the National Committee of Pot Bellied Pigs, a member of Bit & Spur Saddle Club and Charlton County Saddle Club. She won multiple pot belly pig awards and munchkin cat awards. Linda was the founder of chocolate color in breeding of munchkin cats. She also rescued pot belly pigs for the Humane Society.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband: David Larry Browning, Sr.
She is survived by her 4-children: David (Stephanie) Browning, Bonnie (Dennis Sr.) Schoenfeld, Margie (Jeff) Flight and Lisa Browning; sister: Linda Rose Giovenco Nicolli; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Trent Long officiating. Burial will follow at Racepond Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Jeffery Flight, Billy Fraser, Michael Schoenfeld, Dennis Schoenfeld, Jr., Tyler Browning and Dylan Browning. Honorary pallbearers will be Gage Browning, John Browning and Ramiro Browning.
